Surrendering to the Universe

I had a random job today to be a chaperone for a highschool group from Houston. We were going to Alcatraz. I have been seriously traumatized going to Camp Gan Israel when I was 6, and I was told if we didn't behave they would lock us in the room with padding and no light. I didn't really want to go, ok, fun to be a tourist, but I'd rather be at the farmers market hanging with people shopping for kale. It worked out that they didn't have a ticket for me, so they paid me for my time, and I got to go to the market and see friends. I like that. Getting ready for shabbos with butterfish, parsley dip, carrots.

the flow of clothes

or shmattes, rather. Why take new ones, when I'm letting go.I have to say that I delight in the labels of them. One of the shirts has the lable Shameless. I prefer Pure.
Blessings for a Chodesh tov. Letting go of what no longer serves us!

YECHI!!

Snow in spring

its the first day of spring, and snow was lightly falling this morning. I am starting to miss lemon trees and riding my bicycle. I am happily busy in the moment, rocking out on the subway listening to my ipod, drinking pineapple tequila shots, laughing with ladies

its been a week of non stop simcha-dancing at weddings, being an extra in a music video, meeting new friends, embracing old ones, and delighting in the moment
