It’s easy, even reasonable, to look at the world’s troubles,
And say “there’s nothing I can do about it”
But micro actions have a macro effect when reaching a critical mass.
The first step towards action, is thoughtfulness and awareness.
The more we’re aware of our own passivity in the face of the world’s trials and tribulations,
The more inclined we’ll be to take responsibility for the world around us. -Israel Bitton

I discovered Breema about 16 years ago in Israel. I was impressed by the simplicity and elegance of movement.
Breema is described as the Art of Being Present. BREEMA is an acronym for
Being
Right Now
Everywhere
Everything
Myself
Actually.
What I appreciate about Breema is that its an opportunity to bring my thoughts and feelings while doing a physical activity. I have found that self understanding is essential to my growth in consciousness. If I can understand my habits, I can be more present to what is. When I am present for myself, I can be more present to others. Its knowing that I'm not being selfish being self centered, I am centered in knowing my true nature in order to give and receive.Living Inspiredhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01330656609607489088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6283694175070694946.post-70168855643937089032016-11-30T21:40:00.001-08:002016-11-30T21:40:20.154-08:00I'm not perfectI signed up with Live your Legend daily blog challenge, and I didn't blog daily
We definitely need more laughter. I'm getting the laughter campaign going here on the streets. Had a brief conversation with a clear headed man who lives on the streets in Menlo Park. That's what we want to be free of constriction.

Freedom is in this moment

we are craving comfort foods-I was grateful to taste scalloped cheesy potatoes with a potato chip at Trader Joes today. I found salmon bacon. how exciting is that?

I say the best way to get out of any despair is to connect ourselves with the infinite-doing a mitzvah. Tonight I went to a challah bake with women at the JCC. more on that. that's right the righteous women are bringing the Redemption!Living Inspiredhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01330656609607489088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6283694175070694946.post-70730166945668403112016-11-06T06:06:00.000-08:002016-11-06T06:06:57.229-08:00Bringing the Geula (redemption)Yalla! lets go! NOW is the time to do the WORK
it can seem so overwhelming, however once we make the shifts, we can have tremendous joy available to us.

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: x-small;">Joy develops out of the soul as soon as we are in tune with the movements
of the soul. Whatever the path is we are led by the soul. If we are in tune
we feel connected to something great and this is joy. Joy has a quality of
fullness and completeness which comes from this connection. This joy is
quiet, has weight, shines. In the presence of people who experience this
joy we become quiet. This joy has no purpose, no wishes, no intent. It is a
very deep contentment"
Quote from Bert Hellinger at a London workshop April 2000.

It's time to replace banged-up, dried-out old obsessions with ripe, juicy fascinations. It's your duty to phase out numbing traditions and deadening habits so as to make room for exciting new rituals, customs, and sacraments. Can you summon the electric willpower to shed influences that are technically "correct" but lacking in soulfulness? I think you can. Do you love yourself enough to forswear pretty but meaningless titillations? I think you do. Now get out there and do the hard work necessary to bring more serious fun into your life. Homework: Write an essay titled "What I Can Do to Be More Playful."

I want to say I'm too tired, however, I'm going to share a few words before sleep

I practice a type of bodywork called Breema. www. breema.com One of the principles in it is No Extra. Extra gets in the way of our true essence. For me its the debris that I carry around-the postcards and fliers from events I may want to attend, the hints of what I want to bring into my future, the 2 dates sitting in a plastic bag. if its not serving you its EXTRA. its the information we want to have about another person, that isn't always necessary for a connection. Where are you from/what do you do? what college did you go to? that can be extra

more on that later.

Living Inspiredhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01330656609607489088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6283694175070694946.post-44969684665746194592016-10-25T23:36:00.001-07:002016-10-25T23:36:54.560-07:00Staying presentLong time no write. I go in cycles, up downs, and as the the Holidays come to an end, its time for recomitting myself to my passion of writing, my love of life. I just booked a ticket to NY. Whoohoo! and I feel called to go to Miami.
I have to say if you are Jewish, single,(or not)and earth oriented , Urban Adamah is the place to be. There was a great Succot party there Sunday night. I am reconnecting with people I havent't seen in YEARS! its fun.Living Inspiredhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01330656609607489088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6283694175070694946.post-75401004907733667812016-07-27T01:10:00.001-07:002016-07-27T01:10:05.036-07:00Accepting what isThis is life at the moment.
Action brings CLARITY.
I want clarity in my life Clarity of purpose
to know what my mission is. Today I spoke with Beth Bongar, the Laughing Diva. We want to work together, we haven't gotten it together to do it yet. The world does want what we have to offer. Corporate laughter, how much FUN would that be?
in the meantime, I'm working at a local health food store, I spent a lot of my time focusing on dusting the shelves. It feels good. I haven't worked from 9-5 in who knows how long.
There is something comforting in opening boxes, breaking down bubble wrap, and putting the products on the shelf.
I'm going on a field trip for a Jewish day camp today. Its going to be hot.
We can so easily discount who we are and what we have to offer the world
Encouraging us all to take pauses when necessary and the courage to be bold. I'm meditating on what is convenient and what is comfortable. Am I willing to get out of comfort zone.Living Inspiredhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01330656609607489088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6283694175070694946.post-33355344393661679012016-05-09T22:53:00.001-07:002016-05-09T22:53:15.597-07:00Uplifting a red lightI was at a red light on El Camino Real and I looked to my left and saw a man who looked like he needed some uplifting. I reached for my battered up laughter sign and held it up. I peeked to see his reaction. he held his hand and gave a lukewarm reaction, and then more of a thumbs up. that's what we want. he rolled down the window and said, "I'm going through a challenging time. "
You need some laughter! It starts at 4 am. I know its time to go when I wake up without an alarm at 3am. We can break our habits and change our thoughts. We can even change our DNA. Guess what? Yes, we are running in place AND you can also go to sleep in the vibration of raising your Kundalini. Its a beautiful thing for me to be in a room of sisters dressed in white (increases your auric field) and the sole male, Sadu, who owns the place. It was an energizing set, I did what I could, mindful of my knee injury and lay down for a nap for some of the chanting. Detox tea and sharing afterwards. A wonderFuLL way to start the dayLiving Inspiredhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01330656609607489088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6283694175070694946.post-30506945040024256112016-04-06T05:30:00.003-07:002016-04-06T05:30:50.212-07:00ONE LOVEI am restraining myself blasting Bob Marley singing One Love to rouse these lethargic children.
