I carry my Laughter Sign. Yesterday at the Clark street station I held it up to the female toll booth operator. She laughted and then let me enter for free. Thanks. this laughter business is good stuff.

I earned a bath tonight. Cleaned dust and getting dirty in the garden. I made a pot of bone broth last week and I don't want to clean it out. not now. where's the cleaning fairy
procrastination sits in. til tomorrow.

Cafe Gratitude

Dear Reader
I think I owe you some lunch ideas.
this is what's been happening here
Here at Cafe Gratitude is the Right Attitude!
we've got sprouts happening
mung beans are crunchy and light
I eat them alone or add to salad
soak overnight and rinse, drain and either have them sprout
in mason jar or strainer

Quinoa
is easy to make
I rinse it first to take out the bitterness
I made it soupy with slices of butternut squash and tumeric
added some adzuki sprouts
ratio 1 cup to 2 cup water

Flirting is Fun!

If I only knew it was so much fun at the ACE hardware on East New York, I'd be shopping there more often for Contractor Trash bags .. The dark skinned bearded  Israeli  wearing a baseball cap asks me, "would you like that to stay or go?" its all energy, fun, playful and light. Rrrrrr....

Gratitude for the garden

I carried a bag of rocks today. literally. found them sitting in the trash in a ziplock that was in a Trader jo es Bag. curious to know what was in the paper bag, I found the rocks. Carried them with me. Going to find a home in the garden.  Grateful to walk on President, and wanted to see if anyone was at the garden. There was. Several women, theymade a dinner and was building a fire. Great!  nice to see the lights strung up.  I picked a cucumber and sliced it. I have a weakness for marshmallows. Mmmmm...

Cafe Gratitude is Back!

Starting the day off with nourishment and nurturing. Cooking an orange soup with quinoa, butternut squash and sweet potato, and kombu seaweed.   Just made eggs with tomatoes from the garden and parsley and cilantro.   Baking beets, cabbage with tumeric and cumin.
